Ma Elena Zapata

Portrait of an Artist.

Ma Elena Zapata was born on July 20, 1967 in Mexico City

Since little was caught two passions: horses and art - in that order.

Remember to always enjoyed painting horses, and thanked his parents the support they gave him yet   provided in this adventure. As a student, he learned the technical aspects of painting, and painting gave him the mystery of pleasure, feeling, art. Over the years chose graphic design career, but the mystery did not leave, he returned to painting ......... horses. "A language exists among us," she says, "created by feelings, emotions and movements."

Certainly she found the horse, a vehicle to convey his artistic sensibility, but they are still for her. Ma Elena Zapata described as mystical and powerful beings wise and prudent course.   "Always vigilant, always faithful, they are delivered to their masters, without losing its essence" she noted. Driven by the deep admiration and appreciation, she strives to communicate what she believes, is its being and manifests in his work as a study in contrasts, in color, shape, figures, and displayed their horses, aggressive in their lines, but smooth in shape. This vision is part of the animal soul and a part of the soul of his art.

When asked what artists have influenced his style. Ma Elena told us that she admires those who have taken risks and commitments, dreamers and lovers, those that continue to struggle in life. She is self-appointed "idealist", and proudly says: "I believe in humanity and its enormous power to create, love and fantasize. Still, she believes that no one has really influenced his style. Rather, she says "I make up every day", and will continue to re inventing, as well as his art. If anything has influenced her the light. Yes, light. "The light that we all vibrate." She explains, is light in color, or colors are light "These colors can be seen and can be felt, she sees the world in this way. For   Luckily for his fans. She sees the world as well and it speaks through its horses, light color.
